Flickerstate by F.A. Davidson.

This book is SO COOL!

Premise: 17 year old Norah has a special power: she can manipulate probability. Using the power is dangerous and can attract fatal beasts whose bites lead to long, awful deaths. Norah’s dad is dying from bites and senior year enrolls in a high stakes academy for people with this power to try to find a cure.

I really enjoyed this book! It’s classified as YA fantasy but it’s definitely appealing to a wide audience. I don’t read much fantasy but really enjoyed this. Aside from the “Flickerstate” probability powers, the rest of the world is normal and the premise and execution will be interesting to adults as well as young adults.

There’s a cute love story in it also (always love that) , the pace is super quick and the stakes are so high!

Thanks to Sourcebooks Fire for the eARC and the copy I won in a giveaway 😍
