I just picked up my preordered copy of Alicia Thompson’s new book, In Every Possible Way, a delightful romance read that will have to substitute for the Ireland vacation I cannot afford this summer.
This is a reminder to support local bookstores and authors by pre-ordering books through them. Often there are preorder incentives. For the price of just this book, I got:
An art print 😍Art by Kate Jarvik Birch (also the cover artist for the book)

A postcard that is map of the places our two main characters visit in Dublin 🗺️ Also by Kate Jarvik Birch

A sticker sheet with 8 stickers of beautiful things from the book and the book title

AND the signed book!

So YEAH preorder incentives really delivered here! And also, I loved this book!
5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Like the Song it’s titled after by the Cranberries, In Every Possible Way is a delightful experience that makes your heart feel full.
On her 37th birthday after a terrible date, Jess gets mugged! She wakes up not where she was mugged in Florida (love how Alicia Thompson writes Florida by the way. She is a local and captures the nuances!), but in Dublin, Ireland! The first man she meets is the brother of the terrible date!
So Jess now how to figure out how to get back to the USA with nothing but the clothes on her back and this hottie brother who runs an auto shop.
The magical realism here is really great and feels like a real life daydream. Alicia Thompson pulls this off so well. The setting steals the show though! I don’t know about you guys but I can’t afford a trip to Ireland this summer so this felt like a great little trip in a book. Even the weather is described so beautifully!
This book also has some good steamy scenes and is a really good escape! Thank you to Berkley for the eARC!
