Annie Knows Everything by Rachel Wood Review

Wow, I love Annie! I miss her already.
Annie Knows Everything is the hilarious tale of Annie, a Canadian 30-year-old living and working in NYC. When she’s laid off at the beginning of the novel, the only option she has is to transfer into Data Strategy. Annie doesn’t know anything about data strategy, but is committed to learning it and immediately develops a great repartee with her new boss—and possibly love interest—Connor.
Annie is also dealing with sister issues. Her sister Shannon is about to marry a guy Annie does not approve of. Because of this, Annie and Shannon have been on rough terms, but the reasoning definitely endears the reader to Annie.
Wood’s writing is delicious and sharp. Annie was such a funny protagonist and her voice is one of a kind. This book is equal parts swooney, heartfelt, and hilarious. The pacing is wonderful and as a reader I was always dying to know Annie’s next move. Connor as a love interest is a fictional character we could all fall for.
I really enjoyed this character and the liveliness of all the characters in the book. Recommend to workplace romance fans! Thanks to NetGalley, Dial Press, and Wood for the eArc!
