This witchy thriller is action packed with a hint of romance, just the way I like it. I can’t believe I’m saying this but this is my first Heather Graham book and it definitely makes me want to check out her Krewe series that this book is spun off from.
We follow a woman and man, Skye and Zach, with supernatural powers working for the FBI to solve crimes. Skye can see history play out in front of her like a movie, while Zach can touch an object and see a memory from someone who’s touched its eyes.
When someone ends up murdered and people go missing, Skye and Zach use their powers to try to solve the case, while also growing fonder of each other. It becomes clear they are looking for someone who is a green witch, or dressed like one. This is a quick read! The prose is great and I liked the third person view point. I haven’t read a “let’s solve a case” book in a minute, so this is a good chance of pace. There’s so good twists and reveals also.
It’s out now!
Thank you to Heather Graham, Kensington books, and Hambright PR for the eARC.
